Gonsin TL-6000 for World Customs Organization

The Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) of the World Customs Organization (WCO) European Region was officially opened in Baku, Azerbaijan, October 17, 2011 in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the WCO and the Government of Azerbaijan in November 2009.

The Regional Office is head structure on realization of the WCO customs policy in the European region. Its main objective is assistance to the region states in reforms and modernization of their customs services on the basis of the advanced international standards and WCO tools, for strengthening of safety of the international trade supply chain and facilitate global trade.

World Customs Organization is working on the international conventions to promote the national customs cooperation, so as to coordinate and simplify customs procedures, and make international trading easier.
